this past weekend, i attended Shmoocon.
on Friday night, i presented at Shmoocon Firetalks, a series of fifteen-minute talks put on by NoVA Infosec. my talk was entitled “If You Can Open The Terminal, You Can Capture The Flag: CTF for Everyone”, and discussed what to expect in CTF competitions, pitfalls to avoid when getting started, and how to get started doing CTFs and CTF-style problems. because Irongeek is amazing, all of the Shmoocon Firetalks are online, and available to watch.
